Cuplock spigotted standards are manufactured from 48.3mm O.D. tube. They have cup joints at 500mm intervals. The captive mobile top cups are designed to endure rough site handling and welded bottom cups are made from high-quality steel. Integral spigots are provided at the top of each standard for making vertical connections. The spigots and the base of each standard incorporate 11 mm dia. holes to enable use of locking pins to join standards one over other

The Ledgers are manufactured from 48.3mm O.D. tube with forged steel blade ends which locate into bottom cups of the standards and are locked in place by the corresponding top cups. Ledgers are available in various lengths to provide the desired grid dimension for scaffolding or formwork.

Cuplock Transom

Transoms are fabricated from twin structural angles fixed back to back with a drop forged blade attached to each end. The 1.8m and above Transom has an additional web member welded below the flange section for added strength. The transom blade locates into a bottom cup and is locked in position by the top cup. The outward standing bottom leg of the angles supports the steel planks in a captive manner. Available in various lengths to suit scaffolding and formwork applications.

Socket Base And Universal Jack

Universal Jack
The Screw Jack provides a method of jacking which can be used at either the top or bottom of a scaffold structure. It is used in conjunction with Forkheads, Socket Base and Drophead Adaptors.




Socket Base

Beams
The lightweight steel fabrication includes 100mm wide top flange which eliminates the necessity for a plywood infill, so cutting down maintenance costs. Heavy duty pressings are fitted to the beam ends ensuring adequate protection against site abuse. These incorporate a tongue location for the drophead.

Panel retaining lugs have a tapered wedge action for quick positive location of panels, ensuring tight joints and minimum grout loss. When beams are in the horizontal position they cannot be accidentally dislodged.

Cantilever Beams
Engineered to support normal access loads and stop-end forms; a safety device is incorporated locking the beam to the drophead so that they cannot be dislodged when striking. Provision is made for a guard-rail post to be attached using standard scaffold tube and fittings, thus eliminating the need for an external scaffold- a big saving in construction cost.

Drophead Dropheads
  • The quick action Dropheads supplied complete with nuts and bolts is designed to fit on standard props or adaptors for Cup locks scaffolding. They allow panels and beams to be struck and re-used after only 3n or 4 days, leaving the support in position for the remainder of the curing period of the concrete slab.
  • The primary head remains in contact with the concrete whilst the secondary head and its supporting wedge are released by a single hammer blow. The height of the Dropheads is 214mm and the striking distance allows the beams and panels to drop only 115mm for the their safe removal a marked improvement in terms of speed and safety compared with other systems.
  • The Dropheads has a load carrying capacity of 40kN.
  • Special care has been taken to ensure that beams cannot be accidentally dislodged once located with the Dropheads primed.

Form work

The Form work system consists of all steel economy panels. These are available in a combination of sizes from 75mm to 700mm wide and 900mm to 2500 mm long. Special sizes can also be made on order.

The panels are joined by wedge and lock sets which are inserted through slots in the punched angle / flat which forms the edge of the panel.

The panels are aligned by either tube or channel walers which are clamped to the panels with bridge and single clamps

For heavy duty concrete work soldiers are used. The panels are then gang formed and crane handled.

The panels are tied together to form parallel faces using tie bolt and tie rods

Rapid clamp are used with mild steel rods and provide a cheap, effective clamping system that has no nuts or bolts and leaves no expensive ties in the concrete. Coupler & Fittings

Our Coupler and  fittings like pressed double coupler, pressed swivel coupler are manufactured by a modern rapid production system. The materials employed are principally mild steels/Forged Steels, and fittings have been tested and conform to the BS - 1139. The fittings are tested to resist corrosion having a complete zinc coating with chromate passivation.
Additionally, all scaffold fittings are supplied with fully captive nuts. We operate a rigorous quality assurance policy.

Pressed Double Coupler
  • Pressed Double Coupler
    Pressed Double Couplers connect two scaffold tubes at right angles. These are critical components in the scaffold structure and must be load bearing to resist both slip and distortion. The design is based on a strong one piece body with flaps and eye-bolts that can be removed for maintenance or replacement.
     
  • Pressed Swivel Coupler
    Pressed Swivel Couplers connect two scaffold tubes at any angle to provide a ledger brace, facade, or similar bracing.

 

 

Sleeve Coupler

Sleeve Couplers join two scaffold tubes externally end to end. A steel divider located centrally ensures equal insertion of each tube. They can be employed where tension joints are required and therefore are particularly useful for long bracing.

  

 

 

Putlog

Connects putlog tubes to ledger tubes for the support of scaffold boards. The one piece body has been carefully designed and press-formed to provide the maximum resistance to movement and a long working life. It is not required to be a load bearing coupler.

Girder Coupler

There is often a requirement to fasten scaffold tubes to girders and other steel sections which demands a specialized fitting with a high degree of versatility.

In erection, the Gravlock Coupler is highly effective, as it enables the fitting to be bolted to the girder first, leaving both hands free to present and secure the tube. As the tube is not compressed against the girder it is not distored by the fastening process. Gravolock couplers must be used in pairs.

  

 

 

Joint Pin

Joint Pin-Provides end to end connection of scaffold tubes. Operates by being inserted internally and expands to apply grip against the inner walls of the tubes. The fittings are designed only for compression joints, and should not be used where tension can be developed in the tubes.

  

 

 

Putlog Head Adopter

Putlog Head Adopter -Used to convert a scaffold tube into a putlog, making the maximum use of short lengths of tube.

  

 

 

Stair Case Coupler

Stair Case Coupler - Used for the construction of temporary stairways by connecting together scaffold tubes and timbers (often scaffold boards) with angles ranging from 28° to 90°. These units can be used either left of right handed.
